Welcome to the first of many official TechTuts competition. This is the first competition of the brand new TechTuts to get the ball rolling, a simple competition where you can win yourself some cash & more!

Design Our Category Banners

As you may of seen, each tutorial category featured on this website has a banner at the top of the page when you are viewing the category. You will notice the banner is not designed properly, and is temporary. In this competition we are asking for some new category banners.

What You Have To Do

For this competition, you have to design our new category banners. The banners should be 693 x 70 pixels in GIF format. Each banner should have the name of the category and some icon to identify that category.

The banner should have some kind of attractive design to it, and be customizable for different categories.

You must provide us with the PSD and all the category banners in GIF format if your entry is chosen.

Rules

- You can enter as many times as you like
- You may not post criticism on other entry's
- DO NOT post your entry if it does not meet the guidelines given

How Do I Enter

To enter, you only need to create 1 or 2 banners. If you are chosen as a winner, you will be asked to create the rest of the banners. However you can enter all the banners now, but you must submit at least 1 or 2 examples of the banners.

Prizes

1st Prize: $50 & 25 Advertising Credits
2nd Prize: $20 & 10 Advertising Credits
3rd Price: $10 & 5 Advertising Credits

This competition will end in 2 weeks! ( 30th July 2007 )

A few Notices

I just want to let everyone know, that there will be a layout change in a few weeks and with that will come the forum skin. We are using the IPB Pro skin for now, until we get a new layout.

That little orb with the white thing, is suppose to look like the Photoshop logo (the feather). It was just my try of makeing my own icon

This is the only one i have done so far, but i got 14 days to finish the rest.

Guys come on, just cleared topic. Please do not post criticism, the only replys to this topic should be entry's and admin replys.

Just so people know, you dont have to use the sites colours or even have Techtuts written on the banner. It is being shown below the logo anyway so people will know where they are.
This is not up for discussion, just a tip. Entries only in this topic.

This is my first entry. I might enter another time, but I don't know I really like these. They are fully customizable and can be the whole orb by its self, like they are, or however. They could even change colors if needed.
